The organizers of the exhibition - the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Foundation for the Development of the Art Industry and Jewelry Art - will present the best examples of jewelry and decorative arts.
The exhibition will mark the beginning of a large artistic and documentary project dedicated to the triumph of the domestic art industry and jewelry firms at world exhibitions in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The project will highlight the role of the Russian Ministry of Finance, Finance Ministers Yegor Kankrin and Sergei Witte in organizing the first domestic exhibitions, as well as the participation in them of the jewelry firms of Carl Faberge and Pavel Ovchinnikov.
The exhibition is also dedicated to this year's anniversaries: the 190th anniversary of the first Manufacture Exhibition in Moscow, the 170th anniversary of the first international exhibition in London, the 125th anniversary of the main exhibition of the Russian Empire in Nizhny Novgorod, the 175th anniversary of Carl Faberge and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Empire.

Sokolniki Cultural and Exhibition Center is a modern exhibition complex with a total area of 33,000 sq. m. It consists of 9 exhibition pavilions. Exhibitions on the territory of Sokolniki have been held since 1959, during which time a large and successful experience has been accumulated.
Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center is a member of the following Russian and international organizations: Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), International Union of Fairs (UFI), International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs of the CIS and Baltic Countries (UIE), International Confederation of Organizers of Packaging Exhibitions (COPE), Packaging Association Canada (PAC), World Association of Self-Adhesive Label Manufacturers (FINAT), World Packaging Organization (WPO), Interregional Printing Association (IAP), Soyuzupak Association.
The Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center annually hosts a number of jewelry exhibitions organized by R.O.S.JUVELIREXPO CJSC. These include the exhibitions Jeweler - 2009, Jeweler-2, Jeweler-Spring, Jeweler-3, each of which is an important and notable event in the Russian jewelry industry. There is also a permanent exhibition of the Jewelry Art Center here.

Sokolniki Park in Moscow has been holding fairs and exhibitions all year round since 1959. It was here that Expocentre appeared, which later moved to Krasnaya Presnya.
